NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company which holds the license to manufacture Nokia branded smartphones, is all set to expand its product portfolio. According to an online report, the company is said to launch new Nokia smartphones. As reported by Nokiapoweruser, the company is expected to launch Nokia 1.4, Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3 in Q1 and Q2 this year.
The report adds that the Nokia 1.4 is said to launch in February this year. The smartphone is said to sport a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display. The handset is said to be powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. The Nokia 4.1 is also said to offer 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
The Nokia 4.1 is expected to sport a quad-rear camera setup and is said to be priced at 100 euros (Rs 8,800).
On the other hand, the Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.4 are expected to launch in the second quarter of 2021. The Nokia 6.3 is expected to be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and sport a 24MP camera. The Nokia 7.3 may come with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout. The handset is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset. The smartphone is expected to feature a 48MP rear camera and 24MP front shooter.
The Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3 are said to house a 4,500 mAh and 5,000 mAh battery respectively.
Recently, the budget smartphone from Nokia received a price cut in India. Nokia 5.3 comes in two variants and both of them have seen a price drop of Rs 1,000. The 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant which was launched at Rs 13,999 can now be purchased at Rs 12,999. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version which was priced at Rs 15,499 can now be purchased at Rs 14,499.
