NEW DELHI: Tech giant Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S21 series of smartphones on January 14, 2021. Now, Samsung’s largest mobile experience store in India, the Opera House outlet in Bengaluru has confirmed some of the details of the upcoming Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The store confirms that the India sales will start on January 29, a week after the global launch. This means that the smartphone will be available everywhere as soon as January 22. The store also reveals that the Galaxy S21 lineup will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset in the subcontinent. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is confirmed to sport an 108MP main camera and will also offer 10X optical zoom.
The Store also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come in Gray, Pink, Purple and White colour options. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 Plus will be available in Pink, Purple, Silver and Black colour options. Lastly, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be launched in Silver and Black colour options.
An earlier report revealed that this year the company will price the Galaxy S21 lineup same as the last year launched Galaxy S20. So, if this is true then the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be priced around Rs 67,000 and the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra will be priced around Rs 74,000 and Rs 93,000 respectively.
Earlier rumours suggest that Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus will come with a 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch display. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch display. The Samsung Galaxy S21 will be backed by a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra will house 4,800 mAh and 5,000 mAh battery respectively. The three smartphones will come with 120Hz refresh rate display and Galaxy S21 will come with adjusted refresh rate functionality.
