The political movement had gained momentum on the eve of the election of Sarpanch of Janwali Gram Panchayat. Activists of Sarpanch Kaka Rane and Amol Rane in charge of Janwali village had joined Shiv Sena. Therefore, the selection of Sarpanch was likely to be difficult. However, the BJP still won the Janwali Gram Panchayat. BJP’s Shubhada Ravrane became the Sarpanch.
Sarpanch Kaka Rane and Amol Rane in charge of Janwali village along with activists entered the army in the presence of Shiv Sena MLA Vaibhav Naik. On the day before the Sarpanch election, Kankavli MLA Nitesh Rane joined the Shiv Sena and gave a strong push on his own home pitch. However, less than 24 hours after the admission, MLA Nitesh Rane retaliated against Shiv Sena.
As no application was filed by Shiv Sena in the actual Sarpanch election, this election was held without any objection and Shubhada Ravrane of BJP became the Sarpanch. In the special meeting held for the election of Sarpanch in Janwali Gram Panchayat, Shubhada Ravrane was elected as the unopposed Sarpanch. D. By Palkar.
