What exactly happened at Virar’s hospital?

While the oxygen leak accident in Nashik is still fresh, another heartbreaking incident has taken place in the state. A fire broke out at Vijay Vallabh Hospital in Virar, killing 13 patients. The AC in the intensive care unit exploded, causing a fire.

The fire started at 3 pm and the hospital was rushed to the spot. There were a total of 17 patients in the ICU. Four of them managed to escape on their own. However, other patients could not save their lives and died in the fire. Firefighters and police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the fire. The fire brigade has succeeded in controlling the fire.

A total of 90 patients were admitted to the hospital. Those on oxygen as well as those in critical condition have been shifted to other hospitals after the fire broke out. Twenty-one patients have been shifted, including four women and seven men. At present, his condition is stable, the hospital said.

Five women and eight men were among the 13 patients who died in the blaze.
