Motorola has launched the Motorola Edge S smartphone in China. The handset comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and is equipped with a quad lens camera at the back.
Price and availability
Motorola Edge S has three models. The base variant packs 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. It is priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 22,500).
Other models come with 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB ROM. They are priced at CNY 2,399 (approx. Rs 27,000) and CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 31,500), respectively.
The smartphone is up for pre-order in China and will go on sale on February 3.
Motorola Edge S: Specs
Motorola Edge S has a 6.9-inch IPS LCD screen with 2520x1080pixel resolution and HDR 10 display support. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor with Cortex-A78 running at 3.2GHz.
Motorola Edge S is a 5G phone and comes with UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone packs up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage capacity.
On the camera front, the handset has a dual lens sensor for selfies. It features a 16MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
The smartphone boasts of a 64MP quad camera system at the back. This is paired with a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a ToF sensor.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 20watt charging adapter. Motorola Edge S is splash proof with IP52 rating. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
