At Zakir Hussain Hospital in Nashik, 25 patients were cheated due to oxygen leakage. The whole of Maharashtra is shaken after this incident. There will be a high-level inquiry into the incident. For this, we have appointed a committee of seven people and the divisional commissioner Radhakrishna Game will be the chairman, informed the state health minister Rajesh Tope.

Tope further said that the expert committee will find out exactly how this happened. I would be wrong to say my opinion. I am sure that the committee we have appointed will definitely give a standard SOP.
The administration said there was an oxygen leak. So nothing was visible. However, everyone was generous and went to the spot. Here the work of breaking the lock and stopping the leakage of oxygen was done. The remaining 75 were then filled into the oxygen tank. The gas tank was then welded, Tope said.

Meanwhile, Rs 5 lakh has been announced by the state government and Rs 5 lakh has been announced by Nashik Municipal Corporation for the relatives of the deceased.
